Of course it is still great to trim these shrubs once a year to keep them looking managed. We also like to practice overplanting, filling spaces with lots of shrubs and plants to where weeds to not have the space to grow.

A Three Year Transformation

One of the more challenging planting projects that we have taken on is this slope planting. This client was looking for a affordable solution so they wouldn't have to mow the bank anymore. Rather than planting the entire bank with an out of control vine or plant, we opted to choose hardy plants that would be a display of color, while also looking like they had grown naturally. Now the plants have grown together and weeding is minimal. Making this slope planting a success.
